All the links to DEMs I have are for US DEMs: These are the two best free download sites. [ http://data.geocomm.com/](http://data.geocomm.com/) *[FREE] registration required* SDTS DEMs - Open the .tar.gz files w/ 3DEM () and save as .dem Couple hundred, organized by State.

USGS DEM archives.
Not complete; but hundreds. Organized in alphabetical directories.
Unzip the .gz files and add a .dem extension to the end of the filename.

3DEM also can use any of the formats shown in the attached pic.

Friends don't let friends use booleans.
