Humm,,,interesting thought.  I will wait and see what others think on this..being only a participant.  Who knows, the digital may take poorer images than the film shooters. : )  It does seem to me to fit the criteria of no control and fixed focus.

It is cheap enough considering film processing for my film one-use camera brought it all to more than $10.
