Helpful is better for everyone than otherwise.  So in a way we are helping ourselves as much as each other. 

Also helping people is better karma than being a bunghole!  And smells better,too! LOLOLOLOLOLOL

We're all learners here and even the older and wiser folks learn something from people asking questions.
