it's best to export blender files as objects (ie. .obj), to use in Poser. You can use other formats, like .cob, .3ds, maybe even .dxf, but most folks use (Wavefront) object format. Any modeling program that can export in this can make at least props for Poser.
The scale difference between Poser and other programs can throw you, so if you import a hat big enough for Vickie to swim in, fear not..or if you import a Mike into Wings or Blender, that dot in the center of the screen is indeed your model..;)
Avoid 3-sided polygons (tris), also there's other strangeness involving 2-sided polygons, n-gons (more than 4...Poser likes 4-sided polygons....nice polygons...oooo...;)
Poser will attempt to smooth anything that it imports. This can make a perfectly nice sword come out like it was an inflatable-looking one. Sometimes you can make hard edges by beveling ever so slightly the hard edge you're trying to keep.
I'm almost ready to go on Poser props. hope these hard-learned lessons help you out, I made all the above mistakes over the years..;) And this is only the beginning. Read on past this post for even more helpful replies...;)
