Would be nice if we could have comments, hits or otherwise on a basis because the work is good and not because of how many friends one has, or how good one can render a lifelike nude without making it look pornographic. And on that subject, if one painted a texture rather than using a photgraph of a real person on a poser model, then that to me would be acceptable. (The works of RGUS for intance are very artistic and beautiful and deserve all the positive comments this artists gets) 
Sometimes that little comment you get makes you feel good about what you are producing.
