Thanks for the comments. Yes, the cow & the paper towel textures were scanned from the "real" things and mapped to the faces of the spline objects. I use the scanned image to make the outline shape for the spline object for the cow (select backround of image, fill with white & save to use a t-map, then invert & fill with black-save as grayscale & bring into Adobe Streamline to convert to eps that will be imported to Spline Modeler. This makes for a perfect fit & minimizes any image distortion. The paper towel roll is a spiral rule done in Illustrator, converted to a outline path & imported to Spline Modeler. The "top" has a wood (center section) bump mapped to that face, that's why I didn't add one to the paper "face". All told, I guess I spent 1 1/2 hrs on it. The real question is: Was the Spagettie Sauce on the scanner glass or on the real cow?
