And the Wizzards would all be confused, have to have a long dinner, lie down for  a while, and send Rincewind out to get himself killed somehow...all in the name of pure research, of course.  Of course, those over in the High Energy Building would simply add another bit of cheese to the matrix and ask for the possibilities of elf ladies suddenly appearing while delivering banananananas to the librarin.
