Thanks for the tips. I know about turning off the user control and I already have a license of Tweak XP - planning on getting their Vista edition. It looks like my reboot issues are down to either the memory or something wrong with the motherboard. Not good... I may have to shelf my desktop and rely on my laptop for a few months until I get the mac.
