A fair amount of free characters and clothes on the MD download page.

The only issue those two have is sharing conforming neck items, like close fitting turtle neck type garments....Things made for AnimeDoll won't always work 100% (you'll have to do some minor adjustments) with MayaDoll.

Does anyone know how can i give the Maya doll sharp elf ears?

The support for this doll is very low, and i wonder if I should consider another replacement that is very similar to this one, any ideas?

Support ain't bad for a freebie.  BATLAB almost always provides ADMD versions of his clothes plus there's all the stuff on Maya's own site.

If you have a picture in mind for those ears, drop me a line and I can make up a morph for you...there were some elf ears for MayaDoll in the freebies a couple years ago....but I don't know if they're still available or not.

Cool, i appreciate it, I was was wondering how they do the force morph package to allow me to adjust the ears anyway I want it, Like very similar to the Terai Yuki 2, That one is working really great for me, so much more support. The Maya Doll some of thier links are dead, so I can't seem to find much.

Anime doll is great but its not the look I was looking for, Maya Doll has the realistic look that I want, But I am not sure if some of the Anime Doll stuff is good for it.

If there's anything special (that's not too overly complicated...) that you're looking for, I can always add it to my ever growing to-do list.

Always happy to make things for MayaDoll. I still use her on occasion, have a friend that really likes her so I make her images to use on forums and the like.

Only if it is no trouble at all, I know a fellow artist doesn't have much time, but if you can make a adjustable morph for her ears for elf ears that is all i wish, I would say the Terai Yuki 2 head morph is what i would want in a maya doll(If there is already one, I can't seem to find it. I like the maya doll because its the closes thing to Terai Yuki But has the mature look. I want to be able to use her often, but seeing how not many people actually use it, Is there a similar model I can use? or What is the Maya doll based off of? For example Anime Doll is based off Maya doll, So all the clothes would fit, Is there any other model that the props and clothes would fit with the maya doll?

If the adjustible head morph isn't possible I would like the ears to be kind of like this. Ears Large and sticking out so it shows beyond the hair.

Some links are dead on studio maya, not sure if there is anymore support and packs anywhere else. But I absolutely love this model, since its the only mature looking asian type model I can find that has a decent body.

That's one of the avatars I made for my friend....I gotta get her new set done here soon...

Those are with the ear morphs that used to be available...so I'll just do up my own version that will be similar looking. I'll try and have that done early November.

Any animedoll clothing will work with MayaDoll as their bodys are pretty much identical, the only issue is like I said earlier with the neck because the rig differs slightly between the two in just that area. So if you see something for AD that you like, you can get it and know there will only be minimal issues. Generally just need a slight manget fix to pull the clothing out of MD's neck at the front. I swap clothing between the two quite often.

It's not a problem for me to make things....I just don't have much free time this semester between school and work right now, but things should (hopefully....knock on formica) be a bit lighter towards the end of December. And here's hoping I don't have to take another full load of classes after the first of the year...my Poser addiction is suffering. =P

Yeah I am falling into the addiction as well, I just started to used poser this week, would there be any tutorial to do your own modifications to the head or body? or is that something only a math whiz would have to know? I really want to fix those ears lol, unless someone still have that Morph still lying around somewhere.

Oh another question if its not too much trouble, I can't seem to change her eye color, even though I have the eye color pack, Am i doing something wrong? Missing something?

I'm at work right now....but will be home soon to check on this........The eye on MD is set up a little funky compared to other figures....I think you need to change the middle eye material zone. (can't remember what it's called exactly)

Riddokun has some cool eye texture sets for MD on his site, as well as some texture sets for MD clothing set. 

I use his eyes all the time, unless I'm doing one of my own blue chicks. =)

And, if you click on the freestuff link at the top of the page on Riddokun's site I linked just up there.....then click on the morphs....you will find the elf ears I was talking about earlier...scroll down past the face morphs....(I thought they were gone....)

I used the fantasy ears morph on that little avatar image up above.....beacuse I really don't like the anime stick way out to the side look.....

I can't say enough to thank you, That is awesome!, They even have the DOA suits.

btw OT: Did you ever watch Dead Fantasy or Haloid? Monty Oum created that using poser, and its totally cool how he got ahold of the Zero Suits, or made it himself.

I love the look on this elf btw, Was this a custom made face? or was it a part of a pack, She looks really pretty, has that innocent yet womanly look on her.

That's actually just regular MayaDoll face with no adjustments....(damn I need sleep...I can't type....)

Texture is one of mine though, my EQ inspired elf 2-pack. Blue DE tex can't really be used for commercial purposes, but the "wood" elf one can....nothing super detailed texture wise, but we all thought it was nice & smexy.

Anyone know where I can find this hair? or what was the name of this hair style?

If you go to Netherworks store, they have their old hair conversion magnet sets available for free. One of them is a vicky -> MD conversion I believe (been a while since I used them)  You do have to do some minor adjustments, but they get you close to the final goal. Then just save a copy of the converted hair to use again.
