I agree with FrankT, FF is a lot leaner application than IE. It runs faster, better overall support for standards. When using IE to access ShareCG I get timeout errors or it cannot connect at all, FF does not have those problems. If you really love IE, you can add the IEtab to the FF browser, which allows you to switch to an IE engine from within FF if you do not like the way a page loads.
