One thing I have noticed is that if I upload an image on an evening, say 6pm (that's UK time!) I tend to get more comments than I do when I post one on a morning before I go to work, around 6:30am. I guess it's because we Brits are are minority here(?) and there aren't many on in the mornings and/or people don't browse far through the gallery maybe just the first few pages.
