This message thread was started when jedink told us that he will be,

moving to the southern part of the southern island of New Zealand

(This just in from the department of coincidences!!!)

Last night while hanging our in a local ... ummmm ... pub, one of the TV
monitors was showing pictures of some spectacular mountains, snow
capped razor thin ridge lines, .. .  I thought to myself that the scenery
looked like something from Lord of the Rings.  I was then amazed when
they showed a map of Southern New Zealand!!!

That place is beautiful!  ... You won't have any problem building a snowman.
