Okay its ashame that members can't just congraulate the winners and move on. Instead we have a few members that are trying to pick apart winning entries. Why is that? Its disrespectful and not appropriate. I'm disappointed to see entrants of the contest doing this and members who didn't even participate as well.
Its a contest, there are winners and there are entrants that didn't win but everyone who participated put thought and hard work into their entries and that should be respected, period.
The contest rules state..
Contest Theme is: "Dinner With the Dead" **as this phrase is interpreted by the artist.
**Does anyone read the whole contest rules? THIS IS INTERPRETED BY THE ARTIST. so the whole "so and so's image doesn't go with the theme of the contest" is not a good arguement that so and so's image wasn't deserving of the win. Please READ.
Also the theme is only ONE thing that the entrants were judged on.... Everyone put hard work in their entrants and no one should be made to feel bad because their entry won a prize.
I'm locking this thread because the judged winners of this contest should not be made to feel this way.
And I just want to say to the winners of this contest, Congratualtions. Please feel proud of your work and don't bother trying to explain how you interpreted the theme of the contest to others, its your interpretation and that follows the contest rules. Good Job.
