I'm not going to repeat others fabulous suggestions, so I'll add this to the discussion:

1- Learn Poser's way of naming body parts (examples: lShin, rForeArm, lShldr, head, rThigh, rToe, etc)
2- Learn Poser's way of setting up folders and what is contained in those folders.
     Some examples:
     Runtime:Geometries:DarkEdge:Helmet.obj
     (the geometry folder is where most obj's are stored, I say most because some will use the character folders)
     Runtime:Libraries:Character:DarkEdge:DarkAssassin
     (the character folders are where most of your figures CR2's will be, when you double click on a figure in Poser to bring onto the stage...this is usually where they come from).
