and....not to be confused with Poser Pro, coming this fall :), which will have "Better Integration with Professional Environments, an Enhanced Path to Photoshop CS3 Extended, Network Rendering & 64-bit Support and Maximum Flexibility with Poser Content." Also a special edition of Quidam for Poser will be included.

Poser Pro Pack came between Poser 4 and Poser 5, like lesbentley said it added python scripting and the main point of it was the plugins for exporting (to host your scene) poser scenes in Lightwave, 3D Studio Max and Cinema 4D... It worked ok, I rather liked (at the time) that I could finally have fully textured (did need the fix_falloff script for transparencies to show up properly) and animated poser scenes in MAX with litlle fuss or messing around.Gerard

Wow! I didn't realize that either, since I came onto the scene with Poser 6!
Thanks for the info - but another quick question -
I'm still using Poser 6 -
Let's say I get a package with different formats: PP, P5 - Which one will work best for me (with P6)? I thought the PP stuff was best all along eeee :) hahahah Thanks guys, have a super Sunday!

Usually packages are split due to features used. The big difference betwee ProPack and P5 was that Curious Labs added the Material room with the Pixels3D shader nodes. P4 ProPack and previous versions had a much simpler, limited material structure. So if the package has P4*/PP/P5 options, P5 is the best bet.

What is Poser Propack and will content made in Poser Propack work in Poser 7? Any help will be greatly appreciated! I have never done any 3D rendering or any thing like it so I know very, very little. Thank you.
