Having used Max, one of those top end packages (and Blender for almost a year now), there are somethings that are so much easier to do, but somethings that are so much harder! Try making a tree in Max and you'll know what I mean :)

All said and as many here have said art is down to the artist not the tool, so I guess that means there's no hope for me until someone does produce something with a make it look good button :)
