Hard to find images of ebira/utsubo (quivers) online.  There are several types, ebira being an open-box and can be rather ornate.  I'm going to scan some images from "Arms and Armor of the Samurai" for reference (for whomever) and make a download zip.  Back shortly (need to install scanner drivers and reboot - darn).

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.
