Eww...sorry to hear about the blank screen. I've gotten a couple GPFs where it just didn't do anything but close itself. Closing and restarting the paint program seemed to clear that up. Ahh...what program doesn't have a few bugs? (If you find one, I want it!!) :) Before I made my BuZZ order, I tried to reproduce the effects by imitating some of the same kinds of effects from other filters I've got. Ormente has a new "cartoon" filter which does something similar to BuZZ's Simplifier. Then I used edge detect and contour and color emboss and silver tracer and other stuff. I couldn't get the same effects, though, and trying to juggle all those various filters wasn't as convenient. I've been using the stack successfully with Simplifier 1 followed by Edge Detect Monochrome, then a third (either Simplifier 2 or radial blur or something else). The best effects (I think) is using just one or two from BuZZ, then working with the layers of the image as different blending settings. Some really cool stuff can be made, and I think Vue images in particular give nice results. Since we have so many images in this thread already, I'll add another. :)
