Subject: Poser 7 - Better to have one Runtime or Multiples?

It depends on who you ask.  TheFixer and I both go for single Runtimes.  Others prefer multiples.  There are advantages and disadvantages to both.

The advantages of having a single Runtime are:

No duplication of content.  This can happen accidentally if you don't keep very close track of what is where, when using multiples.  It can also be needed, since some versions of V3/M3/D3/S3 etc don't like to be far away from their native Runtime when injecting morphs.  The only way around this is to copy all the INJ/REM stuff into your other Runtimes.

You don't have to shuffle from one place to another and wait for a new Runtime to load when looking for things.

Subfolders are easy as pie to organize and can be set up to suit your characters/content/workflow in about 10 minutes.

Disadvantages:

Poser takes longer to load initially.
