I'm sure Varian was kidding when he compared BUZZ to Piranesi. There is a reason why Piranesi costs $700- because it does these BUZZ effects in TRUE 3D! That's much different than a 2-D filter... However, I do like what BUZZ does and will order it. I especially like the "painterly" color-reduction effects. I have actually been in this digital painting 'racket' for many years. It seems only in the past year or so have people really begun to 'discover' it (digital media and how to make it look like "art"...) I highly recommend you check out the link above where you can see how more people are 'getting away' with this AND making good money too. (That's how I can afford to buy all these neat toys...)
