Programs are not released at random dates or dates dictated by developers, they are released (or at least announced) in conjuntion with special events. In "our" business, SIGGRAPH is the main event so I expect some teasers right before SIGGRAPH '08, a grand entrance at SIGGRAPH, availability of Vue 7 in Oct/Nov 08 and a stable, usable release in 2Q09... exactly like Vue6 and exactly like whoever else does.
