This will put you on the right track. Note that not all Poser 7 stuff works properly in Carrara. If you have Poser 5 or 6 is better.

Generally it pays to quietly and completely read through the Help--it is very good.

And it's Carrara!  (Quite a lot seem to spell with the e but I have no idea why?)
