If you already have Poser, there's no reason to give it up; you've made that investment. You can't really sell it, since you have the license. So hang onto it, unless you have to sell your PC. Then, just uninstall it, and whatever else you want to keep.
I'm not in particularly good shape myself, but not anywhere near homeless...at least at the moment. I live in a trailer park way outside of town, with all that implies, no heat, no hot water, etc.
Still, it's not as bad as it sounds.
Don't know your particular situation, but there's roomates, cheaper apartments, moving back in with M&D (last on the list, but you'd hardly be the first). There's always options. You might have to take a 2nd job, and not have as much time to render, but you don't have to give it up. Hang in there, and good luck.
