You're running Vue6Inf? Ditch Vista, go for XP 64 bit. Another tip: ditch the overly expensive super fast graphics card. Stick with the 8800 series, but go for one on the cheaper end. Invest the money you save in another 4 GB of RAM.
And I second the call for an Intel Q6600. I've got a system built around a Q6600, not overclocked, with 8 GB of DDR2-667 RAM, multiple hard drives (2 x WD Raptor 74 GB, 2 x Seagate Barracuda 320 GB) and an older, but still fast nVidia 7800GTX graphics card.
Vue 6 Infinite flies. Even non-overclocked this machine will easily run 60% faster than an overclocked AMD 6000+ dual core.
I imagine that Vue 6 Infinte is happy with the machine. But It won't be happy with Vista 32 bit. You've got the 64 bit hardware, you've got the 64 bit software, why cripple your system with a 32 bit OS?
