Now with that obj selected in Poser I go to: file/convert hier file Locate where you saved the phi file. Now delete the obj from the stage. Go to your figures library and work your way to new figures folder...there it is! Bring onto the stage. Now go to the setup room and "presto chango"...my boxes now have bones linking them together.

If I go to the material room I can apply the same material to all of them, as there is only one material available for them all. 
Use this same method for your reins and you should be good to go.
