Congrats on your new iMac! :) I'm still using an old Mac, running OS9, so I can't answer your questions regarding P7 and your new iMac. However, I do know this: Don't worry about all your purchased content, they will work fine. Long time ago (MacOS 9) Mac users needed MacConverter to set the Finder file types. So when you see the warning, "Mac Users May Need to Convert These", ignore it. When downloading files, you won't need any converting tools, just use StuffIt Expander to un-zip the files. If the file un-zips to a folder named "Runtime", do NOT drag that folder on top of your Poser7 "Runtime" folder, or all your content will be over-written. Open the folder that you just downloaded (that's named "Runtime"), and move the Geometries, Libraries, and Texture folders by hand into the folders where they need to go. Old Poser content used .rsr files to display the graphic image in the Library. Newer Poser versions switched to .pngs. So, sometimes you'll find a freebie that has an .rsr file and no .png file. It will still work if you load it into the Library but you'll have no preview image, instead you'll see a shrugging guy. X-Shruggy is a free app for OS X that will convert the .rsr --> .png file. http://www.ilike.co.nz/xshruggy/ I know of no reason why you should have to run XP on your iMac, unless there is some app that there is no Mac version. and visit the Macintosh forum! welcome! :D
