Welcome welcome to our simple home
Where writers of both prose and poem
Hang there hats and sip their sarsaparilla
As we sit out on the veranda of the villa.
Here we lounge and while away our time
As we try to find that perfect rhyme,
Or perhaps endeavor to ensnare
A protagonist beyond all compare.
Surely you will find like minds here
To help make sure that you will persevere
O'er the foibles of good grammar and good spelling
Despite the variations of its telling.
But if you want to ensure some timely aid
Remember what the wise sage once said;
Learn quickly child of our great weak spot,
And don't forget to bring the chocolate.
