Subject: Upgrade from 5.5 to 6.1 for 39.99???

Things in B6 that are not in B5.5:

  1. Boolean modeling that can then be exported
  2. IBL lighting system
  3. Transport a whole animated sequence from DazStudio into Bryce.

Er... can't remember if there's anything else.
disadvantages: imported objects are black - totally black.

However, you can have B5.5 AND B6 available on the same PC and even open at the same time. And if you import an object into B5.5 - save it to a preset folder, then copy the folder to the B6 presets and open it in B6 then the colours are there - but as I import stuff to Bryce in order to immediately change the materials I don't have the time to faff about with that.

Easier to select entire object, and slap grey onto it...
