Here's one that isn't too difficult and would be very useful - to me anyway. ;)

When you save an existing file as a new file, have an option to copy the thumbnail image from the existing file as well.  There are many times when I edit a CR2 where I don't want to alter the original so I save as a new CR2 but the thumbnail doesn't go along with it.  Not a big deal but would be a nice convenience.  This should simply be a matter of checking for the existence of a matching .rsr and .png file for the original CR2, copying, and renaming them to the new CR2.  Normally, I do this manually.

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.
