Side note. I have Hexagon 2.2, Cararra 6, Bryce 6, and DAZ Studio 1.8
I don't really have bee with Poser, except that I have now spent a small fortune on these applications and if I don't need to drop more money on a redundant program, I won't. It was my understanding that the major difference between Cararra and Poser (excluding rendering) was the new Lip-sync ability in Poser 7.
The reason I ask this question, is I want to truly understand the limitations of these applications.
To make sure I understand this correctly.
Can I make clothes without Poser?
The answer is Yes.
However, Cararra will be the only other tool capable of rigging clothes and those clothes would only be usable in Cararra. This (as retarded as it may sound to me) would suggest that DAZ Studio can only read Poser formats, and not DAZ's very own Cararra formats.
This makes me wonder why I would need DAZ Studio and it's Poser capabilities, since Cararra is supposed to be a superior studio and animation application.
