Quote - I just installed Poser5 - again.  I've got all the Hiro content CD stuff installed before I found this thread, but I also have a lot - really a lot! - of content from Daz - that I had previously installed for DS, now that I've re-intalled Poser5 can I use your installer to install the same stuff for Poser5? Or do I not need to even install all that?

So is this what your program gets rid of?  The mess?

It would be so cool if something did.

It certainly would be cool if something did!

I'm afraid this program is not the tool though (for getting rid of mess). In fact, I don;t think ther IS a tool for getting rid of runtime mess. This program will however help you install 95% of your stuff into nicely names runtimes. If you are going back to Poser and want to start afresh then zap the D|S folders completely and segergate your content into figures (V3, V4 animals etc) and then within that into clothes, shoes, hair etc). Then, make a well ordered (short named too) list of the runtimes you want eg

c:runtimesV3Shoes
c:runtimesV3Hair
c:runtimesV3Clothes
c:runtimesV3Char-morphs
c:runtimesV3poses
.
.
.
c:runtimesV4Shoes
c:runtimesV4Hair
c:runtimesV4Clothes
c:runtimesV4Char-morphs
c:runtimesV4poses
.
.
.
c:runtimesprops
c:runtimeslights

Put this into the runtimes.txt file in the installer folder.

Take each category of "things" eg all your install files for poses for V4. Put thim into the install files folder and run the program specifitying the c:runtimesv4poses folder as the target.

This will install all those files (the poses for V4) into the V4Poses runtime.

Repeat the process for each category of content.

Finally, start poser and add all the runtimes into the library.

You may wish to look at the excellent "Advanced Library" http://neocron.lunarpages.com/library/ program to further subcategorise your content. This can help you build a virtual structure on top of your runtimes. It is WELL worth a look.

Hope this helps
Cheers
