You might try using Poser's GROUND texture for a "quick & dirty" trial to give it some texture.

Change the diffuse color to something different than the beige color used for the ground.

Just a thought because it's already available in the Mat. Room ... just do a "cut & paste" and plug it in to your back wall's diffuse color property.
