I have been taking trips to the west for the last 12 years on my Goldwing Motorcycle and have always taken a point and shoot with me.  Most all my pictures have been landscapes or places of Interest.  I have tons of the pictures.  Now that I have a DSLR I plan to take it with me for a lot of my pictures.  These trips usualy last 2-3 weeks so you can imagine all the places that are Interesting for great pictures.  Last two years I have ridden to British Columbia and spent a week with some friends I found on the Internet and I have a lot of Pictures of that area. :)   I don't know what my genre would be and as long as I enjoy traveling and taking pictures I guess it doesn't really matter. :)

Attached is a few pics from Kelowna, BC.  They had a bad forest fire just before I got there as you can see in some the pictures in the link I have attatched.
 There pictures were taken with an Olympus C-50 P & S. :)
