I don't know what you consider "worth the bother." I like freebies and appreciate the time put into each and every one of them and to me having to work around a different language is no trouble.

Unfortunately their Advent Calendar only allows you to download the current day, so I missed 17 days.  The 2 that I did manage to download so far were a V3 character addon with morphs and textures, and a package of 4 gorgeous fantasy backgrounds (ocean/beach with light house,  forest, etc).

IMHO it's worth putting in the effort to register, because they put in a whole lot more time and effort to create the items for us :)
