Subject: WHY do my renders look dirty?? Help....

cindyx ( ) posted Wed, 19 December 2007 at 11:46 PM · edited Thu, 28 November 2024 at 9:53 AM

I use Poser 7.  I've never had a problem rendering V3 with general lighting using either Firefly or Poser 4.  I just started using V4... and all my renders look "dirty", especially the skin.  Does anyone have any advice?

#1 post a picture to illustrate the meaning of "look dirty."

That would help, yes.  Info on the materials would be good too - your V3 materials probably had no shader setups, and pretty much all V4 materials come with SOME kind of shader, which may be one of the differences.

"dirty" usually means bad render settings.

Thanks everyone.  I really appreciate your thoughts.  I think the trouble may be the shader setups.  I'm figuring it out now.  Thanks again.

You might be rendering at too low of a resolution. Or, you might try cleaning your monitor glass, LOL!
