You can also use depth cueing to simulate a camera's "depth of focus". Someone posted this before but at that time I did not understand what effect they were going for so it did not sink in. Sorry, can't credit them. 1. Render Scene with Depth Cueing off. 2. Take that image into your favorite paint program and perform a Gaussian Blur on the whole frame. 3. Import that image into Poser as a background. 4. Without changing camera angle, re-render the scene with Depth Cueing on. Presto! Close objects in focus and objects further away get more and more out of focus.
