JohnnyF: No, you're quite right! My apologies.

Actually that's just a number that's been painted on the side, it doesn't appear to be a bronze plate. 

I've had to take a bit of 'artistic license' with this part because some of it was too awkward to model. (sigh)

Also, it is a bit shiny. I've been trying to get a black paint finish that looked worn and yet not too black. Some black mats just suck the light right up and leave you with nothing. I will be changing it though. I wanted to see it in situ before making the final decision.

For those of you who might be interested, there is a new publication out today in the UK that gives you the parts to build a real-world scale model of this loco and all the instructions etc. The 1st part is 50p but thereafter it's like £5.99. Too expensive for my tastes but some of you might like it.
