Anyone remember that jet from those James Bond movies, some C-64 game, or in various guises at air shows? Well, I did my own take on the Bede BD-5J. Feel free to take a looksie.

Thanks!  Very cool :)

I'm just a bit confused by the use of the GNU licence.  When I read it, it talks about programs, but doesn't seem to apply much to 3d models..

Cheers,

Something about item #0 makes it applicable towards content. But you can treat it as a sort of loose variation of a CC license (although they're still different.) I did it that way so it could be used as future content for an open source flight sim. (It's authors want content contributions available under GPL v2.)

But a 3D model is a 3D model, so why have it where just the sim fans could get it?

yeah, I recall that they used it in the one with roger moore, where he pulled into a petrol station in cuba to refuel it. blimey! that's the only bit I recall from it. excellent work on the model IMVHO.

THE plane to pull into a gas station is a P-40 Tomahawk, piloted (of course) by the late great John Belushi! ; ) see the movie "1941"

It was in 1941 AND roger moore did it as well- he also flew a car in a movie! looked like an AMC

The car in the Bond film was an AMC Matador Barcelona Coupe; but the villan was doing the flying. (:
