I highly recomend the philc link Acadia mentioned (http://www.philc.net/CC_sampleVideo.htm). It was what I used to finally learn to use the cloth room. Before that I avoided dynamic clothing like the plague. Now I find myself converting all kids of conforming clothes to dynamic. What I did was open poser and then play the video and pause after each step to actually do the step in poser.  And as far are using the dynamic controls, I downloaded Philc's clothroom presets and for the most part they are the only settings I use.  Good Luck.
