I run vista 64 and I cannot go back to 32 for rendering. Vue runs much more smoothley for me under vista 64. I only have 3 gigs of ram but have never run out with 64 and i do some pretty heavy scenes. Quad core doesnt hurt either =p.

edit - you'll want ultimate as im not sure the other version come in 64 bit flavor but again im not sure
