I know one person who, against all advice from several people, got taken in on one of these scams. He received an email that he was the sole heir on 9 million dollars. That alone should have told the story, who would he know from Nigeria? He was told all he had to do was send them $100.00 U.S. dollars and it would be waiting in a box at the airport. He sent it and then they said he needed to send $200.00 more. I told his Mom to tell him it is a scam. But he wouldn't listen, he got someone to lend him that $200.00 and he's still waiting. Maybe his Mom should hit him upside the head with a 2x4 and see if that makes an impression. shrug
