Hello, sorry for coming late... I'm not often on rendero, now... I downloaded admin2's Romantic Park Scene scene from sharecg (nice scene), and was astonished to see, that the 'cherry tree with cherries' in the back of the scene, is mine (originally based on Vue5Inf's Cherry Tree which comes with Vue, so everyone who paid Vue, has paid for the rights to use that one), with my eco-cherries, roots, soil and eco-grass. Admin2 just changed the size of the group, not even the names of the objects. Then I found this thread here. I made that 'cherry tree with cherries' some time ago (winter 2005/2006, or so...), and put' it on rendero freestuff for Vue, plants. Since I stopped hosting at rendero's, about a year ago, the zip file is hosted on one of my sites, http://www.gpfrance.info/. In those days I thought that, perhaps, I could sell 3D models, and make some money with my fruit-and-blossoms ecosystems, and other models. But now I'm occupied with other stuff. The cherry tree is licensed for personal use only : make artwork with it, but don't sell nor give away 3Ddata, says my site. Rendero details in the freestuff section say "for non-commercial use only". I don't remember anybody asking me for using my stuff commercially, nor can I remember having given any commercial licence to anybody - but, well, I'm growing older, perhaps my memory got leaks ? If I remember correctly, this tree was not included in the "kit" I sold at rendero's in summer 2006. Whatsoever, the kit's licence stated : "The Artist (Author) retains all copyrights to the enclosed materials. The Buyer is not purchasing the contents, only the right to use the contents. The Buyer may not redistribute this archive file, in whole or in part. " My ecosystems on trees were a rather complicated thing to make, in Vue5Infinite, not supported by e-on, a kind of workaround using what seemed to be a 'bug' in the program... and I'm happy to see that Vue-ers like it, they downloaded it 1612 times :-) I don't want to make a hard issue out of this, but I would have appreciated, if admin2 had credited me, too, for my work... ...not only hortus3d, whose alphas, by the way, are not included in admin2's file I downloaded from sharecg : to complete the scene, one must get them on hortus' site. I understand that one can't always remember, from whom exactly one got this or that file or model, but when making artwork with those, one should at least state "freeware from the internet, thanks to all artists", or something like that - but not pretend that one made those oneself. And NOT resell nor give away such 3D data. As I said, I don't want to make an issue of this, but I thank you, all friends on rendero, for keeping an eye on what's going on. :-) Gerhard, GPFrance
