I see that inshaala was interested in the challenge whan he said,

OTOH, he was worried that,

it might be a bit of trouble digitising it

That is very easy to solve ...

Whan you get the film processed, have them burn the images to a CD ...
and don't even bother getting prints. 

... well, getting an index card wouldn't hurt. 

See ... stating the problem got you advice and reduced your cost.
