Former Body Studio user. I don't mean to challenge stewer's expertise, but I have little faith that this plug will be better than its predecessors. I totally don't expect this to happen (but I'm a dreamer so indulge me) but it'd be great if DAZ characters were built as native as possible to other progs such as Mayax, SoftImage, Lightwave, et al without the need of using a hosting plug. On the one hand, it's unrealistic to think that DAZ would spend time developing and rigging characters for up to 10 different apps. On the other hand, it's difficult to say if "professional animators" (as opposed hardcore hobbyists such as myself) would be enticed to use such a product.
