Quote - Don't professional animators want to use thier own figures for uniqueness? Daz figures are high poly count, don't these professionals use low poly figures?
Well, that's my point. Poser Fusion (and Poser Pro 7 by extension) appears to want to get users of high-end software to import Poser content (which is not meant to sound condescending). Either they want to increase the number of people using cr2 files OR they're saying that the Poser rendering system is not on par with other apps, as if to say "so here's a way to use another rendering engine" (I'm agree with the first point since I rather like Firefly). The DAZ figures and great, and it took me a long time to get used to the idea of not using them anymore. There's so much stuff out there for them. But several figures are SO recognizable and heavy that I doubt that any "professional animator" would want to use them other than pre-vis or a quick mock-up. In that case, these guys would probably rough out their characters with pen and paper many, many times before stepping foot to the computer so insure that their characters are unique and low-poly. So I guess my question is - what is the advantage of using Poser Fusion / Pro 7?
