We have broadband..but not TRUE broadband...
I pay around 10 pounds for unlimited downloads @ 128 kbps. I get roughly anywhere between 90-120 kbps per day. I have been told by the broadband company (the main internet providers chaps out here) that is excellent..most people don't get more than 100 kbps! at 256 kbps..you get around 120-150- for 15 pounds a month. companies who pay thru their noses for 1mbps to i'm not so sure what..get less than the actual speed paid for.
And they want to make some cities wi-fi. HA!
oh.. no use geting wi-fi cards here..they as slow as a dial-up..most poeple use them only if they have to check mails, nothing else.
sigh...
and yup...a lot of people here wold agree with you....
