I'd like to know what you come up with ThunderStone, cos I was just using a reflective mat with very small bump while I tried out things.

Intensity 25 - single light, infinite light in the light lab render options, not visible, and with soft shadows set to 8.  Fall off: linear.  No gel used.

With the bump off (and set to 1.6) it took 38 seconds, with it on, it took 1.02.
