I agree. Vista had some good ideas incorporated, but those were badly executed. Vista also has some VERY bad ideas incorporated (lie the DRM stuff).
You're much better off with XP, either the 32 bit version or the 64 bit version.
I hope MS will learn from their Vista debacle, like they learned from their Windows ME debacle. Maybe the successor to Vista is a decent OS again.
In the meantime, stick to XP. That OS works.
