Quote - "Usernames can be so misleading or identity masking,..." Yeah, there are more than a few who say they are female, pick a female avatar and name, but I strongly suspect otherwise. Hey Connie, I left a comment . YOU are definately a female. ;)
You're very right, Elfwine. I've been "surprised" many times over the last 12+ years on the net. Maybe this is why I rarely let gender, age, country of origin or anything else interfer with budding friendships. It's simply NOT IMPORTANT to me anymore...We're all humans first, with hearts and souls and feelings. Everything else, pales in comparison.
But if you have doubts about my gender and it really bothers you, just site mail "ccbigs". Cully was kind enough to befriend me first, on Renderosity when no one else would take a forward step to greet a newcomer AND was trusting enough to give me his home phone number. I blew my tight monthly budget and called halfway across the United States to talk to him for over EIGHT hours one night. We had a wonderful visit and even though we may be on opposing political sides, we hit it off great .
Cully is a SUPER guy and a very good friend to all, here at Renderosity! He'll confirm that I'm definately female. Maybe a bit of a nut at times (my sense of humor was appreciated and fully accepted), but all woman and absolutely NO THREAT to anyone here.
I joined Renderosity to share my love of art and to learn a new software program (Poser). I enjoy making new friends everywhere I go. I have no ulterior motives in reaching out to others nor any desire in joining any immature gender wars.
Have a good day, one and all.
Robin
