Quote - There were some water props either here or at renderotica also freestuff.
I haven't been able to find a water prop that looks quite powerful enough - kind of like a straight jet that cones slightly towards the bottom. I could well be missing it in my searches, though - do you happen to have a link (or the name of) the water prop you had in mind? Many thanks in advance (and sorry to be such a pest!!! :) )

Becco_UK has a range of convincing fluid props, in the market place here. Thanks for the suggestion, Englishbob! :) they're very cool props, but none of them really look like a water jet from a hose.
it's strange, actually - when I first started searching for this, I just assumed that there would be quite a few of them - there are a couple of firefighter clothing sets and even a fire-engine or two, afterall... lol, how on earth are the vickies and mikes actually supposed to put out their fires??? :):):)
When I get home I'll package it up and get it distributable and up on sharecg.

I've done three smart-propped hose streams: a fog stream, medium width stream, and a straight stream. The water material is very, very crude and basic: you'll have to find someone who knows the material room or texturing who is much better than I (not a hard bar to jump).
It's not perfect by any means (or not even all that accurate), but should work for everything except extreme closeups. I''ve submitted it to Freestuff here as well, but that usually takes a day or two to show up.

Hi - I was just wondering if anyone had come across a poseable fireman's hose - preferably with a water jet that could be attached? Thanks in advance for any info! :)
